A Wisp Of Sound Rose Into The Air makes use of the acoustic qualities of the surroundings in which the work is played. In this soundwork we add an extra layer to the reality of the architectural space of The Design House in Eindhoven NL.

Sounds and visual impressions that are related to the place remain intact, while the sounds and images add extra dimensions – a new perspective on the surroundings is created.

In doing so, it challenges the public to approach the soundwork with an open mind, as active participants in interplay with the sound around them. A Whisp Of Sound Rose Into The Air is open in structure. The audience can decide for themselves where and when they enter and how they find their way through.
