Usine C, a multidisciplinary center for creation and presentation in Montreal, A propic, Performing Arts Fund NL, Dutch Performing Arts and The Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands are very glad to invite you to this special Dutch week in Montreal.

NEDERLAND: NOUVELLES SCENES DES PAYS-BAS gives you the opportunity to experience what is being made in The Netherlands. 5 days to discover dance, theatre, music and other performances in 70 hours of shows from Dutch award winning artists, like composers Strijbos & Van Rijswijk. Next to a program of full performances, the Dutch week will consist of a workshop on Walk With Me, an after talks and meet & greet with Strijbos & Van Rijswijk.

The music from Strijbos and Van Rijswijk is all about the combination of technique, space and the fusion of branches of art. Experimentation with the newest technology is a constant theme in the work of Strijbos and Van Rijswijk. They stretch the borders of applications and mobile communication media so that from a distance they can create a composition and performance for a particular location. The visitor can come to the location at any time and listen to the concert.
