Signaal bij Haanwijk

During the Boulevard festival, visitors of the Brabant landscape experienced on foot how the Haanwijk estate was translated into sounds. With care and empathy, sounds scanned forest and pasture. The expressive audience and nature reached out to each other in a transforming process. A process that fitted in with the oeuvre of the Brabant painter Leon Adriaans and his search for the soul at the same location.
Sound artists Strijbos & Van Rijswijk painted with sounds. They created a musical landscape in a refined way in which stillness, tranquillity and space got their place. The elements of nature reflected the message: have respect, listen carefully, be quiet, hear yourself.
