Odd

Odd, tour Netherlands, The Netherlands
20 t/m 20 April 2007
Mikie and his older brother Kevin live isolated from the outside world. Mikie knows all the prime numbers up to 9091 by heart and loves Johnny Cash, but he has difficulty with the intricate rules of social interaction. Kevin is a man of few words and much suppressed rage. The duet odd focuses on different facets of their relationship: their caring but sometimes rough behaviour, their reciprocal trust and common humour, but also the suffocating dependence and mutual irritation.

Pia Meuthen was invited to make odd for 2movedancecompany. The company is the venture of dancers Kevin Polak and Miquel de Jong who, between them, have worked for such notable groups as NDT, Scapino Ballet Rotterdam and Russel Maliphant Company. Read all about this project
