Whispers     -    ceramic soundsculpture

In a darkened room five white ceramic horns light up. Each horn allows the viewer a glimpse of a soundworld balancing between speech and noise. The different resonance frequencies of each horn form a pentatonic system that is central in this installation.

Text fragments and speech sounds form the basis of the electro acoustic composition, not because of the textual content but because of the musical expressional properties and melodic qualities.

It is up to the viewer to plot it's own auditive route within this three dimensional soundscape so to find out what meanings the horns reveal.
